Abu Dhabi has launched a two-week summer programme featuring more than 100 activities, entertainment events, cultural experiences, and hotel promotions for residents and visitors across the emirate.
Running from August 10 to August 23, the initiative offers a wide variety of attractions designed for families, tourists, sports enthusiasts, and culture lovers. The programme includes live performances, museum offers, children’s activities, wellness experiences, and seasonal staycation packages.
Tourism and hospitality partners across Abu Dhabi are participating in the campaign, providing special offers aimed at encouraging visitors to explore the emirate during the summer season.
One of the major family attractions is the Board Game Adventure Summer Camp at Louvre Abu Dhabi. Scheduled from August 11 to August 21, the programme allows children aged five to fourteen to learn about the history of board games while designing and creating their own versions.
Families can also attend the CoComelon Sing-A-Long Live show at Etihad Arena on August 15 and 16. The interactive performance will feature popular characters, including JJ, along with a special appearance by Blippi.
Children interested in local history and traditions can participate in the Legacy Camp programme hosted at Qasr Al Hosn, House of Artisans, and Al Maqta’a Museum. The camp focuses on Emirati heritage, culture, and traditional crafts.
Sports fans have access to the ongoing Abu Dhabi Summer Sports event at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. The event runs until August 23 and features more than 25 activities covering 12 different sports.
Cultural attractions also play a major role in the summer programme. UAE residents can receive a 30 percent discount on museum admissions through September 30.
The offer includes access to Louvre Abu Dhabi, the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi, and the Zayed National Museum.
Additional exhibitions include The Silk Fold by ETHR at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental and Shezad Dawood: Skin of Dreams at the Cultural Foundation.
Music lovers can enjoy performances from internationally recognized artists during the programme. Indian singer Sonu Nigam will perform at Etihad Arena on August 21 as part of his global arena tour.
The following day, audiences can attend This is Michael, a live tribute show celebrating the music and legacy of Michael Jackson.
Visitors looking for outdoor leisure activities can enjoy Marsana Sundowners, which offers waterfront experiences during weekends through September 27.
Dining promotions are also available throughout the city. Fifth Street Café at the Courtyard by Marriott World Trade Center is offering selected pastries and beverages at discounted prices until September 30.
Hotels across Abu Dhabi have introduced summer packages featuring complimentary breakfasts, dining credits, room upgrades, and family-friendly benefits.
Participating properties include Andaz Capital Gate Abu Dhabi, Radisson Blu Hotel & Resort Abu Dhabi Corniche, Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island, and Yas Plaza Hotels.
