The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a new business support programme called “Member Privileges” to help companies grow and compete in a changing economy.
The initiative starts with five major partnerships involving Microsoft, DHL, e& UAE, Project Management Institute, and Dubai Insurance.
Officials say the programme is designed to provide direct support for businesses, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, also known as SMEs. The launch is part of the Chamber’s 2025–2028 roadmap, which aims to create a stronger and more sustainable business environment in Abu Dhabi.
Under the new initiative, Chamber members will receive access to a wide range of services and benefits. These include digital and cloud technology solutions from Microsoft, international shipping and logistics support from DHL, and digital connectivity services from e& UAE.
Members will also gain access to training programmes and internationally recognised certifications through the Project Management Institute. Dubai Insurance will provide tailored insurance services and protection packages for businesses and individual members.
The Chamber said the initiative will also offer reduced rates, specialist services, and priority support through local and international partners. Officials believe these benefits will help businesses improve operations, reduce costs, and expand into new markets.
His Excellency Ali Mohamed Al Marzooqi said the Chamber’s goal is to support businesses with practical solutions that meet changing market needs.
He explained that the new programme reflects the Chamber’s wider strategy to strengthen the private sector and improve the competitiveness of companies operating in Abu Dhabi.
Al Marzooqi said the partnerships will help members access global networks, advanced services, and better business opportunities. He added that this is only the beginning and more partnerships will be announced in the future.
Amr Kamel said businesses across the UAE are increasingly focused on resilience, digital trust, and long-term growth. He noted that the partnership with the Abu Dhabi Chamber will help companies build stronger digital systems and improve business confidence.
Kamel added that Microsoft plans to support SMEs by giving them access to secure and scalable digital tools that can help companies manage operations more effectively in a complex business environment.
Mahmoud Haj Hussein said SMEs remain a major priority for DHL Express UAE because they play a key role in economic growth.
He explained that the partnership will provide businesses with access to trade knowledge, shipping expertise, and support services that can help companies expand into international markets with greater confidence.
Abdulla Ebrahim Al Ahmed said supporting SMEs with advanced technology is important for strengthening Abu Dhabi’s private sector.
He said the partnership will give Chamber members access to digital services such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, connectivity solutions, and digital payment systems. According to him, these services can help businesses innovate faster and grow more sustainably.
Hanny Alshazly described the partnership as an example of strong cooperation between the public and private sectors.
He said combining project management skills with the Chamber’s long-term plans can help businesses improve performance, strengthen partnerships, and support economic diversification in Abu Dhabi.
Abdellatif Abuqurah said the insurance company is proud to support the initiative through customised protection solutions for businesses and individuals.
He explained that the insurance packages are designed to help companies focus on innovation, growth, and expansion while reducing business risks.
The Abu Dhabi Chamber believes SMEs are one of the most important parts of the emirate’s economy. Officials say smaller businesses continue to drive innovation, create jobs, and support economic diversification across different industries.
By working with global companies and industry leaders, the Chamber hopes to create a stronger support system for SMEs. The initiative aims to help businesses improve digital operations, enter new markets, develop employee skills, and protect company assets.
Business leaders say programmes like Member Privileges are becoming increasingly important as companies face rapid technological change and stronger global competition. The Chamber expects the initiative to play a major role in helping businesses adapt and grow in the coming years.
