According to the National Centre of Meteorology, weather conditions will generally be fair throughout the day, although partly cloudy skies may develop at times over eastern regions. The forecast also indicates that humid conditions will continue overnight, increasing the possibility of fog or mist formation in some coastal and inland areas, particularly in western parts of the country.
Liwa is expected to record the highest temperature in the UAE on Sunday, reaching 47°C. Al Ain is forecast to see temperatures climb to 45°C, while Abu Dhabi is expected to reach 44°C.
Dubai and Sharjah are forecast to experience highs of around 42°C. Fujairah is expected to be noticeably cooler, with temperatures reaching about 34°C.
The combination of high temperatures and elevated humidity levels could make outdoor conditions feel more uncomfortable in several regions. Weather officials have advised residents to take precautions during peak afternoon hours and remain hydrated when spending time outdoors.
Humidity levels are expected to remain high across many areas. Forecasts show maximum relative humidity reaching 90 per cent in Liwa, Al Ruwais, and Al Sila. Abu Dhabi could experience humidity levels of up to 85 per cent, while Dubai is expected to reach approximately 80 per cent.
These conditions may contribute to mist and fog formation during the late night and early morning hours. Drivers are advised to remain cautious if visibility becomes reduced in affected areas.
Winds are forecast to be light to moderate throughout Sunday. They will generally blow from the southeast to northeast at speeds ranging between 10 and 20 kilometres per hour. At times, wind speeds could increase and reach up to 30 kilometres per hour.
Marine conditions are expected to remain relatively calm. Both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are forecast to be slight, providing stable conditions for maritime activities.
Tidal activity will continue as normal across coastal waters. In the Arabian Gulf, high tide is expected during the evening, while low tide is forecast during the early morning hours. Similar tidal patterns are expected in the Oman Sea, with two high tides and two low tides occurring throughout the day.
Looking ahead, the humid weather pattern is expected to continue into the early part of the week.
On Monday, weather conditions are forecast to remain fair to partly cloudy. Cloud development is expected over eastern areas, and convective cloud activity may form during the afternoon. Humidity will increase overnight and into Tuesday morning, raising the likelihood of fog and mist in some coastal and inland locations, especially in western regions.
Wind speeds may strengthen on Monday, occasionally reaching up to 35 kilometres per hour. Sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf could become slight to moderate at times, while the Oman Sea is expected to remain slight.
Tuesday is expected to bring similar weather conditions. Fair to partly cloudy skies will continue across much of the country, with the possibility of convective cloud formation over eastern areas during the afternoon. Some coastal regions may once again experience mist overnight and into Wednesday morning.
Winds are forecast to shift from southeasterly to northwesterly directions and could reach speeds of 35 kilometres per hour. Despite the stronger winds, sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
By Wednesday, cloud activity is expected to increase across eastern and southern parts of the UAE. Some clouds may become convective during the afternoon hours, bringing additional cloud cover to those regions.
Humidity is forecast to return overnight and into Thursday morning, creating another opportunity for mist formation in coastal and inland locations. Winds may continue to strengthen periodically, reaching up to 35 kilometres per hour.
While no major weather disturbances are expected, the combination of intense heat, high humidity, and occasional fog will remain the main features of the UAE weather pattern throughout the coming days. Residents are encouraged to monitor forecasts regularly and plan outdoor activities accordingly as summer-like conditions continue across the country.
