Following a comprehensive security assessment, the General Civil Aviation Authority has lifted all temporary restrictions, ensuring regular flight schedules and airspace safety across the Emirates.
ABU DHABI. – Air traffic across the United Arab Emirates has officially returned to normal operations. The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) announced that the temporary precautionary measures, which had been implemented to secure the nation’s airspace, have now been fully lifted.
These proactive measures were initially put into place as a safety response following the outbreak of the US-Israel-Iran conflict in late February, ensuring the absolute security of all inbound, outbound, and transit flights through UAE airspace.
Continuous Monitoring and Readiness
The decision to resume standard operations was made following a rigorous evaluation of the current operational and security landscape in the region. While restrictions have been removed, the GCAA stressed that it will maintain continuous, real-time monitoring of the airspace to guarantee the highest international standards of aviation safety.
“Our technical and operational teams remain fully prepared to handle any potential developments,” the aviation authority confirmed in its statement, reassuring both domestic and international travelers.
Public Advisory and Cooperation
The GCAA extended its appreciation to passengers, airline operators, and logistics partners for their patience and cooperation during the recent period of adjusted operations.
Authorities have also issued a reminder to the public and travelers to avoid spreading rumors and to rely exclusively on official state sources for any future updates regarding civil aviation and public safety.
